Why is it...

that as soon as you start to feel productive, as far as cleaning the house goes, something goes wrong to throw it all off balance.  My laundry room sink seems to have a MAJOR leak...and not only has it started today, it must have been doing it for a WHILE seeing as how my cabinets have a water mark on them and the paint is peeling off!!!  Shoot, shoot, shoot!!!
We built our dream house and have been in less than a year and there are SOOOO many areas that need fixing.  It is so aggravating!  Makes me want to cuss and believe me I have.
Still fighting this cold but do feel a little better today than yesterday so I hope I am finally on the mend!
Hopefully the rest of the weekend will improve!

I'm Just Sayin...

Well, the first two days of 4th grade went great for Ty! He loved it and he loves his teachers.  I am just so glad he has a buddy in his classes, that makes all the difference in the world.

Been so sick for the last few days and feel like my head is about to explode, hopefully my medicine is going to start doing SOMETHING!!

Our trip to NYC was wonderful...it was a whirlwind trip though.  We packed as much as possible into our 2 1/2 days there!  We will definitely be going back to take things a little slower and maybe when it is not as hot as 400 hells!  It was brutal.  We went to the Yankees game on Sunday and I don't remember a time I was ever that hot.  It was rough and A-Rod did not get #600 that day, unfortunately!  Since then, of course, he reached that pinnacle so I am happy for him!  Maybe they will be playing our Braves in the World Series this year!  Hey, a girl can dream!

Hope everyone has a blessed weekend...hopefully I will win the battle with this cold and get some scrapbooking done!
